Tella

This secure data collection and protection tool helps activists, journalists, and human rights defenders document injustices in challenging or repressive environments by encrypting and concealing sensitive media, protecting against censorship, tampering, and surveillance, and enabling offline storage with later submission when connectivity returns. It supports capturing photos, videos, and audio directly within the app, automatically encrypts content at capture, hides files from the device gallery, allows you to lock data with a PIN, and lets you mask the app’s appearance, while offering offline mode and the ability to export or sync data to compatible cloud storage or data-management platforms via secure connections, and it is free, multilingual, and open-source.
