Context Onion

The repository context router, based on the Context Onion Model, is designed to assist development agents in discovering and managing knowledge progressively by structuring contextual information into layered categories such as current task, system understanding, task context, and organizational context. Its main features include a hierarchical routing model that acquires just enough information at each layer before proceeding, thereby optimizing decision-making and reducing unnecessary broad searches, and a verification process that ensures actions align with both immediate objectives and broader organizational standards. It addresses challenges related to maintaining clear contextual boundaries, guiding agents to focus their exploration, and preventing late discovery of constraints, making it ideal for software developers, technical teams, and automation agents working within complex code repositories or collaborative environments.
