Funputs

Orbit functions as a versatile MIDI plugin that enables musicians and producers to compose, perform, and experiment with microtonal scales, alternative tunings, and non-standard pitch arrangements, solving the problem of limited access to custom tuning systems within typical digital audio workstations. Its main features include importing Scala tuning files, mapping notes onto chosen scales, seamlessly integrating with DAWs such as Logic Pro and Ableton Live, and offering user-friendly controls for switching between frequently used scales, automating tuning changes, and enabling touch or MIDI input, making it ideal for electronic musicians, sound designers, composers, and experimental artists interested in exploring beyond traditional twelve-tone equal temperament.
