Sentinel

The described system functions as a release control and decision-engine tool integrated within continuous integration (CI) pipelines, designed to verify, review, and gate software updates before deployment to shared environments. Its main features include internal management of baselines, candidate manifests, and credentials within existing CI workflows, enabling pre-deployment review of contract changes, precise input validation, and risk mitigation through stable evidence records, all without requiring external tokens or sensitive data. This solution addresses problems related to managing contract and configuration changes, preventing deployment of risky or unintended modifications, and ensuring secure, controlled releases, catering primarily to platform engineering teams, release managers, and development operations seeking reliable release gating, change control, and quality assurance in automated software delivery processes.

Sentinel can be found in CI/CD & DevOps Automation categories.
