Aegis

Aegis by Hatchery functions as an advanced security and governance gateway that integrates seamlessly between developer tools and large language models, such as those compatible with OpenAI protocols, on cloud platforms. Its main features include centralized, single sign-on authentication using organizational identity providers, real-time prompt and response inspection against managed content policies to prevent harmful or sensitive data leaks, and precise usage measurement per user and model to control costs, all without requiring local installation or API key management. Designed for organizations using AI-powered development workflows, it addresses security vulnerabilities, compliance concerns, and operational oversight by ensuring secure access, policy enforcement, and transparent usage tracking while enabling developers to retain their preferred coding tools and environments.

Aegis can be found in API Security categories.
