Questions and answers

• How does dispatch handle last-minute driver cancellations or overlapping trips, and can it automatically find a qualified replacement without losing trip details?

  Thank you for your question.

When a driver cancels or declines a trip, the trip is not lost. It stays in the system with its pickup, destination, time, passenger details and notes. The dispatcher then assigns another driver. The driver list ranks eligible drivers by availability, zone, rating and current workload, and the dispatcher can assign the best match in one click.

Drivers who already have a booking within two hours of the trip are shown with a schedule-conflict warning and ranked lower. The system does not yet stop a dispatcher from assigning such a driver.
