Faultline

This tool analyzes and visualizes the governance and ownership structures of open source Go repositories by transforming static snapshots into extensive maps that highlight ownership gaps, risky packages, stale suppressions, and policy deviations. Its main features include the ability to scan source code locally or within continuous integration workflows, generate exportable evidence for audits and reviews, and identify operational risks such as unaccountable ownership and compliance drift, helping development teams, security analysts, and compliance officers proactively manage and verify repository integrity. It addresses common problems like late discovery of engineering risks, outdated ownership records, and unresolved policy violations, providing organizations with clear, auditable proof of repository governance and ensuring transparency and accountability across software supply chains.
