Vendward is vendor-risk intelligence for engineering teams. It tracks the software and open-source projects teams build on, and flags the events that create real risk: license changes, acquisitions, end-of-life dates, and shifts in maintainer or governance.

Right now Vendward is one thing: a free weekly email digest of those changes. It is open to anyone, needs nothing but an email address, and is not sponsored by the vendors it covers.

The wider product is still in development and not available yet. That work covers a searchable registry of tools with risk scores, and a record of which third-party dependencies a team has approved.

Vendward is run by Roman Kolesnichenko, an independent entrepreneur based in Kharkiv, Ukraine.
